Glory to the Sri Krsna sankirtan, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This sankirtan movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious.
Lavamatra
In Prabhupada's books, time and time again, it is mentioned that just by a moment’s association with a sadhu, a pure devotee of the Lord, one can gain eternal benefit from such association. This is lava-matra, a moment’s association, one eleventh of a second. Srila Prabhupada has said that even if one does not take a book, even if he just looks at it or the devotee who has given him the book, he will make spiritual advancement. By the mercy of Guru and Krsna, the fortunate spirit soul who takes one of Srila Prabhupada's books has the seed of devotional service planted in the heart.
